Daniela is an empathic and highly sensitive person who grew up in a highly dysfunctional, mentally-ill, and perfectionist family. She began battling major anxiety and depression when she was in middle school, struggling with an eating disorder, panic attacks, suicidal thoughts, drug addiction, mental illness, and self-loathing from an early age. She thus developed a strong passion for nature, self-love, meditation, spirituality, and restructuring the brain through the power of neurogenesis and self-hypnosis (she became a hypnosis practitioner just for fun). This led her to fully master the famous mantra, “I am not my mind”.
Growing up, Daniela found comfort and confidence through her love of learning and school (she became a high school math teacher) and through her advanced athletic abilities; she was a hardcore power-lifter and division 1 soccer athlete. Daniela fell into another deep depression and crisis at the age of 26, after sustaining injuries throughout her entire body. She was devastated to find that she could no longer play soccer, let alone go for a jog, anymore. This led her to fully master the famous mantra, “I am not my body”.
Through her own physical and mental suffering, Daniela also learned that she is not her emotions. She instead uses her emotions as a compass to gauge whether or not her thoughts are in alignment to her authentic self.
Daniela has a passion for helping others realize the power of their own heart, mind, body, and soul; the journey to the Self. She strongly believes that at the core of every person is a strong, yet sensitive being who just wants to love and be loved.
