Kathy Taylor is an educator, business owner and servant-hearted leader. She takes pride in connecting with people who need her attention. Her passion for creating events, empowering people, and enriching lives daily is evident in her business which is titled "I Am Something Extra". Her business model is the heartbeat and core of what she believes combined with her faith in God. She refuses to separate her love for, and relationship with God in order to experience idealistic success.
Kathy has a passion for empowering and influencing others to celebrate and live their best lives now. Her love of writing and organizing words has helped her create a platform for business owners, and organizations that have ideas but have difficulty communicating them effectively. This gift has produced opportunities for her to develop numerous training's, curricula and community-based programs. Kathy received her certificate to practice as a life coach to better serve others. She also a published author of several short stories. Her first book will be available in the end of 2016.
Kathy is a Norfolk native and a graduate of Norfolk State University with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies. She has spent the majority of her career working in the field of Early Childhood Education. Kathy also enjoys traveling and embracing the culture of each city, state or country that she has the privilege of visiting.
